As a family business, we always take your special day as a great responsibility and go above and beyond to ensure we can help to make your event plane sailing.
The Georgian is a very flexible venue with its saloon downstairs and open top deck. Since the seating in the saloon is not fixed, we have flexibility. However, there are some limitations; it all depends on the style of your event.
Sit down meal
For the more traditional wedding breakfast we can seat a maximum of 60 guests across two long tables.
30 guests with a U shape set up with two at the top
36 with a top table of six and a further five tables of six
Drinks and dancing
If there is no food, then you can have a maximum guest list of 140.
Buffet
As this is a more flexible food arrangement where people may eat upstairs as well as in the saloon and not all at the same time then you can have a maximum of 100 guests
(maximum seating is 70)
The addition of the dance floor, live music, cake table, sweet table, gift table and other entertainment all take up space and will reduce the guest numbers further.
We do operate all year round, which includes the Winter. We have full central heating for the cooler months, but as there is an increased chance of rain, we recommend you limit your guests to 70 to ensure everyone can fit comfortably inside the saloon.

Our daily cruise offering departs from Maidenhead but must be booked in advance. You can choose between lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. This way you are booking a table and not the whole boat. Make the Georgian your new favourite restaurant.
